Ronald J. Lawson, Chief Managing Officer
Ron Lawson has more than 30 years experience in media strategy, communication, and marketing leadership. He has earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Journalism/Broadcasting, and Higher Education from Oklahoma State University.. Lawson was Director of the Electronic Media Department and taught in the School of Journalism/Broadcasting at OSU.
For 22 years he served a major non-profit organization, holding positions of Director, Media Department and Director, Media Strategy. Ron's xperiences include leadership in strategic communication planning and implementation; media buying at regional and national levels; as well as directing the production of print, electronic and web communication resources.
Don B. Cely, Producer/Director
Don Cely has been creating visual imagery since 1973 when he joined an NBC affiliate as Assistant Director of Photography. He has lensed over 500 commercials and won recognition for a number of television documentaries. Don also worked as lighting director for numerous television productions, including live events for White House Communications.
Work with Fortune 500 companies, entertainment and network television brought Don to the Atlanta area in the late 80's. He worked on Super Bowl commercials, documentaries and major motion pictures in Hollywood and around the country. Don and his wife Antonette then formed CELY Communications, Inc., producing settlement documentaries, broadcast and corporate projects. Continuing the family tradition, Don's son, Winston, is chief editor for a Seattle production company.
Wolfgang Schumacher, Producer/Director
Wolfgang Schumacher has over 30 years of Film & Video production experience. After earning both Bachelor's and Master's degrees, Wolfgang moved south from the Boston area to Dallas, Texas where he studied production at Southern Methodist University. While there, he immersed himself in film and video production, learning the work from the ground up. He mastered every possible aspect of the field working on national and regional commercials, feature films, televison movies, documentaries and corporate productions.
In 1985, Wolfgang relocated to Atlanta, Georgia joining the staff of a large non-profit organization to produce and direct film & video productions. As a writer, producer, director and cinematographer, he created award winning documentaries, short stories and training films. He has the proven ability to tell compelling stories of various and interesting people. It is this unique talent Wolfgang Schumacher brings to the work of ProVertas Media.
